Hello! My name is Ying Gao (高鹰), which means “a flying eagle.” I grew up in a remote and impoverished village on a large mountain in Guizhou, a southwestern province in China. I have a deep passion for reading and writing literary works. To date, I have written five novel manuscripts and I am currently preparing them for publication.

In 2019, I started my WordPress website. Although there was a brief period when I didn’t update anything on the page, I have now resumed regular updates and will continue to maintain it. The most recent addition to my website is the “Knowledge Causes Worries” page, which was created as a requirement for my college course, Digital Writing. Through this page, I intend to share stories about my daily life, my experiences in college, my reading and writing endeavors, as well as my thoughts and reflections on the world and new subjects that intrigue me.
